Requirements
- At least 5 years of project experience (aerospace industry preferred) after university degree (mechanical, electrical, materials & process engineering preferred) or technical higher education (HF or equivalent) after vocational apprenticeship
- Team player with good communication skills, solution-oriented, skillful project planning
- Excellent spoken and written English, ideally good working knowledge of German
- Knowledge of aerospace-standard manufacturing processes (advantageous)
- Experience with precision products and manufacturing processes, especially for ultra-high reliability applications (ideal)
- Prior experience of electrical actuators or mechanisms (advantageous)
- Willingness to occasionally travel worldwide
Tasks
- Review and implement customer requirements
- Coordinate internal and external technical reviews
- Manage project milestones
- Ensure cost-effective development
- Prepare documentation packages for mechanism actuators
- Act as key contact between R&D, quality, production, process engineering, and purchasing departments
- Represent customers internally
- Coordinate communication between all project parties
- Work on manned and unmanned spacecraft projects
- Support science missions and commercial space applications
