You will drive the success of laboratory building projects by bridging the gap between scientific needs and technical execution, ensuring seamless facility transitions and optimized lab spaces.

Requirements

• •Degree in life sciences, engineering, or related
• •3–5 years of laboratory project experience
• •Understanding of lab workflows and equipment
• •Knowledge of safety and regulatory frameworks
• •Experience coordinating laboratory relocations
• •Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills
• •Solid project management and documentation skills
• •Fluency in English
• •German proficiency strongly preferred
• •Ability to work independently
• •Ability to manage multiple projects
• •Adaptability to fast-paced environments

Tasks

• •Lead laboratory fit-out and renovation projects
• •Manage lab transition projects from planning to completion
• •Coordinate equipment installations and user moves
• •Minimize disruption to ongoing scientific work
• •Support strategic lab space allocation and optimization
• •Translate workflows and equipment needs into requirements
• •Collaborate with scientists and technical teams
• •Manage project budgets, schedules, and risks
• •Maintain comprehensive project documentation
• •Oversee contractor performance and review proposals
• •Evaluate cost estimates and manage change orders
• •Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements
• •Meet sustainability standards for laboratory projects
• •Facilitate stakeholder workshops in English and German
• •Drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
• •Manage project governance and reporting activities
• •Handle the handover of completed facilities
