Project Manager Defence (JointFire)(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or comparable field
- Knowledge of procurement processes
- Knowledge of operational procedures
- Knowledge in the field of artillery
- Military and operational experience in deployment of artillery systems
- Experience in project and product management
- Basic knowledge of systems engineering
- Willingness to travel (30 - 40%)
- Business fluent in German & English (spoken and written)
- Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to integrity
Tasks
- Act as the central point of contact for the end customer on-site internationally
- Manage and control the project, monitoring and adapting the planning as needed
- Coordinate and integrate functions involved in the project team from the matrix organization
- Determine and verify user requirements at system and subsystem levels
- Create and evaluate system concepts, architectures, and specifications
- Develop test documentation, including mechanical and electrical drawing sets
- Support integration and qualification tests, acceptance procedures, and training
- Prepare presentations for national and international meetings
- Maintain customer contact throughout the projects
- Provide instruction and support for on-the-job training of end users on-site
- Assist in the international marketing of defence systems and components
