  • Interest in construction projects and project coordination
  • Willingness to learn under senior engineers

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • National of a CERN Member or Associate Member State
  • Never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before

Tasks

  • Conduct feasibility studies and preliminary designs
  • Coordinate civil engineering design services with external offices
  • Collaborate with MEP building services and accelerator equipment
  • Prepare invitations to tender and select firms
  • Open offers and make decisions on designer or contractor selection
  • Supervise on-site civil engineering works
  • Ensure compliance with contractual design drawings and specifications
  • Monitor measurements, payments, costs, and schedules
  • Organize hand-over procedures for civil works
  • Follow up on subsequent work to ensure compliance
  • Implement all safety measures on-site

Work Experience

  • 2 - 6 years

Education

  • Master's degree

Languages

  • English – Business Fluent
  • French – Business Fluent
