Requirements

  • •Diploma in Electrical Engineering (university/technical college, Bachelor or Master)
  • •Working experience in process control and software design (OLC, CLC, Protection, HMI)
  • •Ability to code in Python
  • •Knowledge on communication protocols (OPC, IEC61850, IEC60870-5-104, DNP3)
  • •Comprehensive knowledge in control engineering and power electronics
  • •Fluency in German and English
  • •Experience in testing and commissioning and enjoyment of global traveling and commissioning
  • •Responsibility, teamwork, and strong communication skills

Bachelor's degree

Work Experience

approx. 1 - 4 years

Tasks

  • •Plan hardware and software for power electronic converters
  • •Prepare concepts, specifications, and documentation
  • •Coordinate technically with customers, sub-suppliers, and the factory
  • •Define hardware interfaces and evaluate electrical components
  • •Conduct calculations and design reviews
  • •Implement control software and test on the real-time simulator
  • •Perform commissioning and provide customer training on-site
  • •Support the sales department during concept and tender phases
  • •Assist customers with technical issues during office hours and on-call duty
  • •Collaborate with control, system, and mechanical engineering teams
