Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Polymer, or Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field
  • Minimum 5 years project management experience, ideally in automotive supplier or rubber manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of product realization and rubber manufacturing processes (molding, post-molding, validation)
  • Solid understanding of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
  • Proficiency in core tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC
  • Proven ability to manage multiple technical customer projects in parallel
  • Project planning, milestone tracking, budgeting, resource coordination, and risk management
  • Strong execution discipline with full ownership of project delivery
  • Strong communication skills, primary customer interface in international environment
  • Experienced in coordinating cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality, supply chain, operations, sales)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Highly structured and organized
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in dynamic environment
  • Fluent English (C1)
  • Good German (B2) is a strong advantage

Tasks

  • Lead customer projects from order intake to series production
  • Ensure smooth execution of prototyping, process validation, and production ramp-up
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to customer specifications
  • Plan and coordinate project activities, technical trials, and milestones
  • Manage project resources and costs throughout the realization phase
  • Act as the main technical contact for customers
  • Build trusted relationships with customers through clear communication
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Support customers and internal stakeholders in resolving technical challenges
  • Apply APQP, FMEA, and validation methodologies to identify risks
  • Ensure robust processes and meet customer quality requirements
  • Optimize resources and monitor project performance
  • Balance efficiency, profitability, and high-quality deliverables
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Implement lessons learned and enhance processes
  • Contribute strategic and technical expertise to long-term success
