  • •Master’s degree in electrical engineering, information technology, or equivalent qualification
  • •At least eight years of experience in an industrial environment
  • •Sound knowledge of R&D project leadership and medium-voltage drives applications
  • •Familiarity with medium-voltage drive control platforms
  • •Proficient interdisciplinary leadership skills
  • •Effective stakeholder engagement across global and local teams
  • •Solution-focused approach
  • •Effective written and spoken communication skills in English
  • •Knowledge of German

Tasks

  • •Oversee product development for Service MV Drives
  • •Manage and coordinate modernization projects
  • •Migrate from previous Medium Voltage Drives control technology to a new control platform
  • •Ensure high-quality results and timely product releases
  • •Align continuously with stakeholders
  • •Collaborate with teams to create synergies
  • •Manage projects according to the ABB R&D gate model
  • •Report project progress using tools like NORRD and Planisware
  • •Ensure timely project completion within targeted costs
  • •Coordinate with customer pilot projects and modernization initiatives
  • •Contribute to technical analysis and decision-making in modernization projects
  • •Perform project peer reviews and design verifications
  • •Ensure documentation complies with established processes
