Description

As a Production Shift Supervisor, you will oversee compliance with production processes and safety standards while managing resources and personnel. This role involves identifying improvement opportunities and fostering team development in a dynamic 3-shift environment.

Requirements

• •Completed technical vocational training
• •Several years of experience in production or production-related areas
• •Initial leadership experience in a production environment
• •Knowledge of manufacturing processes and automated production lines
• •Experience with continuous improvement projects and lean management (e.g., KAIZEN, Lean Six Sigma)
• •Quick comprehension, resilience, and strong team spirit
• •Fluent in German (spoken and written); English is a plus
• •Willingness to work in shifts (currently 3-shift model, possibly including Saturdays)
• •Strong interpersonal and assertiveness skills
• •ERP knowledge (SAP)

Tasks

• •Ensure compliance with process flows and work instructions
• •Manage production plans and quality standards
• •Oversee safety standards in a 3-shift operation
• •Maintain continuous production operations
• •Collaborate with the area manager to create an efficient working environment
• •Manage capacities, resources, and personnel during the shift
• •Act as the main contact for process-related questions
• •Ensure adherence to defined process standards
• •Identify improvement opportunities in production processes
• •Address technical, quality, and logistical challenges
• •Motivate and develop the team
• •Collaborate with internal support functions for efficient communication
