Product Assurance Engineer(m/w/x)
Ensuring end-to-end product quality for satellites and launchers. Aerospace/Mechanical MSc and EN9100/ECSS knowledge required. 5 weeks vacation, flexible working.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (MSc) or equivalent in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering
- Relevant experience in Quality and Continuous Improvement
- Knowledge of EN9100, ECSS, NASA, and MIL standards
- Knowledge of space certification processes
- Experience applying Quality preventive methodology (5Why, Ishikawa Fishbone)
- Ability to understand and analyze complex products/systems
- Ability to work autonomously and coordinate tasks
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Availability to travel to other Business Units and Launch Sites
- Languages beyond English (German and French preferred)
- Experience in other Space companies
- Auditor Certification (e.g. ISO9001:2015 IRCA)
Tasks
- Own end-to-end product quality
- Ensure compliance with customer, internal, and regulatory requirements
- Act as primary quality interface for the product line
- Drive continuous improvement of product and process quality
- Ensure robust product acceptance and readiness
- Monitor and report product quality performance
- Execute Product Assurance activities
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation
- Support production for process stability and product conformity
- Lead non-conformance management
- Coordinate manufacturing and production readiness reviews
- Support product and process validation and qualification
- Support Design and Process FMECA activities
- Prepare and coordinate quality reviews with the customer
- Participate in internal and customer audits
- Capture and drive Lessons Learned
- Serve as Q-representative for Launch Campaigns
- Provide on-site support for launch campaigns
