Tasks
- Manage new professional services requests
- Prioritize demand based on risk, value, and urgency
- Act as primary procurement contact for SOW-related requests
- Conduct detailed pre-signature reviews of SOWs
- Validate correct labour classification
- Distinguish between outcome-based services and staff augmentation
- Flag misclassification risks
- Support re-routing to Contingent Labour buy channel
- Assess SOW clarity and robustness
- Evaluate scope, deliverables, milestones, and acceptance criteria
- Review commercial model and risk allocation
- Challenge supplier commercials
- Ensure risk transfer to supplier
- Align fees with defined outcomes
- Use AECOM’s AI tool for analysis
- Analyse labour classification and delivery risk
- Benchmark pay rates and pricing structures
- Identify cost-saving opportunities
- Provide negotiation recommendations
- Lead or co-lead SOW negotiations
- Focus on improved commercial outcomes
- Mitigate risks
- Ensure value for money
- Partner with Legal, HR, IT, and Finance
- Resolve issues collaboratively
- Ensure accurate reflection of commercial positions
- Comply with procurement policies
- Support development of standard SOW templates
