Requirements

  • •BSc or MSc in mechanical engineering, metrology, or related field
  • •Curiosity and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary, multicultural environment
  • •Experience with testing of primary packaging and devices, including container closure integrity
  • •Experience with statistical evaluation of test results and measurement uncertainty
  • •Experience with test method development and validation
  • •Experience within an ISO 17025 accredited organization
  • •Fluency in written and spoken English; German is a big plus

Education

Bachelor's degree
OR
Master's degree

Tasks

  • •Act as the principal expert for functional testing of primary packaging and drug delivery systems
  • •Ensure valid scientific and statistical conclusions based on generated data and measurement uncertainty
  • •Maintain and expand laboratory testing capabilities by interacting with equipment suppliers
  • •Design and validate customized fixtures and processes for testing
  • •Enhance Lonza's expertise in addressing customer challenges related to primary packaging of biological drugs
