Practical Trainee (Reliability Engineer)(m/w/x)
Failure and root cause analysis for hearing health devices, with data collection and technical reporting. Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering required. Coaching by experienced engineers, with exposure to reliability methods.
Requirements
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or similar
- Interest in hands-on reliability, failure analysis, and quality engineering
- Basic knowledge of Statistics and data analysis
- Basic knowledge of Failure mechanisms (mechanical, electrical, or materials-related)
- Basic knowledge of Engineering fundamentals (design, testing, physics of failure)
- Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) RCA methods (5-Why, Ishikawa, etc.)
- Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) FTA and DFMEA
- Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) Rapid prototyping / 3D printing
- Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) Reliability tools and metrics (MTBF, Weibull analysis, etc.)
- Ability to work structured and analytically
- Good English communication skills
- Comfort with test setups, lab equipment, technical documentation
Tasks
- Collect, clean, and analyze reliability data
- Support and perform failure and root cause analysis (RCA)
- Assist with Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
- Support Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA)
- Prepare technical reports
- Present findings to engineering teams
- Support implementing and verifying reliability improvement actions
- Perform hardware reliability testing
- Create new hardware reliability tests
