Requirements

  • •Master’s degree or above in Power Electronics, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, Automation, or related majors
  • •5+ years of experience in R&D, technical solutions, and overall system design in renewable energy and power industry
  • •Experience in power systems, power supply industry, or power automation products
  • •Professional proficiency in English
  • •Proficiency in grid-interconnection requirements and grid codes
  • •Familiarity with monitoring and control framework for EMS
  • •Ability to convert standards/specifications into product feature requirements
  • •Understanding of simulation modelling such as PSCAD

5 - 7 years

Tasks

  • •Interpret regional market-access requirements
  • •Analyze national grid codes for energy management controllers
  • •Compare existing controller solutions with differential requirements
  • •Formulate system solutions for various countries' grids
  • •Plan software versions for energy management controllers
  • •Review and gatekeep control strategy designs
  • •Simulate logic control and algorithms
  • •Perform system stability analysis using RT-LAB and PSCAD
  • •Design systems, including protection, for energy management controllers
  • •Select supporting hardware for energy management controllers
  • •Write technical documents and user manuals for related equipment
  • •Participate in platform product research and requirements analysis
  • •Develop solutions for energy management controllers
