Postdoc Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T)(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Eligibility to work in Switzerland or completed studies at a Swiss University
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biologics or related natural science discipline
- 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical environment (laboratory, production or development)
- Solid scientific or technical knowledge in at least one relevant domain (analytical, galenical, synthetic, biotechnological)
- Knowledge of safe handling of chemicals, equipment and potentially hazardous materials
- Familiarity with laboratory and technical tools
- Good communication and basic presentation skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Proficiency in the local site language
Tasks
- Perform laboratory and pilot-scale work
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation
- Create and improve laboratory instructions
- Support equipment qualification and maintenance
- Evaluate new laboratory and pilot equipment
- Optimize and implement advanced laboratory methods
- Represent area during health authority inspections
- Assess patent landscape for project-specific questions
- Design and document scientific experiments
- Prepare and review GxP-relevant documentation
- Maintain Quality Risk Assessments
- Define and maintain control strategies
- Report results to regulatory and quality standards
- Participate in technology transfer activities
- Plan and execute production trials
- Support analytical and manufacturing procedure transfer
- Provide scientific and organizational support
- Participate in process characterization activities
- Identify and propose process improvement opportunities
- Design and interpret experiments for project timelines
- Ensure cost and efficiency benefits
- Support root cause investigations
- Develop and expand technical know-how
- Maintain training curriculum
- Train manufacturing personnel
- Participate in manufacturing and MS&T networks
