Requirements
- Ph.D. in Immunology, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Systems Biology, or related field
- Early-career researcher, Ph.D. completed within last four years
- Strong programming skills in R and Python
- Experience with multi-omic datasets, ideally single-cell and/or spatial
- Expertise in T- and B-cell biology analysis
- Knowledge of immune cell subsets and heterogeneity
- Experience with immune repertoire profiling (AIRR-seq, Rep-seq, scRNA-seq + VDJ)
- Experience with shared computing clusters / HPC environments
- Strong interest in human immunology and neuroinflammation
- Ability to work effectively across scientific functions
- Ability to build strong, productive collaborations
- Strong communication skills
- Professional fluency in spoken and written English

- Knowledge of meningeal biology
- Knowledge of tissue-specific immune niches

- Experience as an experimental scientist
- Experience in close partnership with wet-lab teams
- Strong understanding of experimental design
- Strong understanding of technical execution of assays
- Strong understanding of assay limitations
- Interest in translating human biology insights into therapeutic strategies
Tasks
- Lead computational research on immune cell states in human neuroinflammation
- Integrate multi-omic datasets to uncover disease mechanisms and therapeutic targets
- Contribute to developing a comprehensive human atlas of neuroinflammation
- Identify cellular states and molecular signatures in healthy and diseased donors
- Apply computational and biological insights to high-dimensional datasets
- Generate hypotheses and guide future translational research
- Analyze T- and B-cell repertoires using high-throughput methods
- Conduct AIRR-seq, Rep-seq, and scRNA-seq + VDJ dataset analyses
- Collaborate with IHB and pRED scientists across various fields
- Translate human biology findings into portfolio-relevant questions and strategies
- Contribute to scientific manuscripts, internal presentations, and conference talks
- Communicate computational and biological findings to diverse audiences
- Support a collaborative and inclusive research culture
