- Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong understanding of core software engineering principles

- Experience with Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of Docker and container fundamentals
- Experience with functional programming concepts or languages
- Solid understanding of networking concepts
- Solid understanding of security fundamentals
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider
- High degree of precision, thoroughness, and attention to detail
- Ability to reason carefully about complex systems and edge cases
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
- Familiarity with distributed systems and reliability engineering
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and incident response
- Exposure to security-focused infrastructure or compliance environments
Tasks
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure declaratively
- Apply software engineering to infrastructure and tooling
- Build and operate reliable, secure systems
- Work with containerized and orchestrated environments
- Maintain and improve build and deployment pipelines
- Reason about networking and security concerns
- Improve system robustness through analysis and iteration
- Adapt to managing entropy in complex systems
