Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in planning, procurement, or supply chain roles
- Strong understanding of MRP systems (SAP or equivalent) and supply planning principles
- Familiarity with Rolls-Royce Production System (RRPS), DMAIC, or similar methodologies
- Exposure to global supply chains and international supplier networks
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in a multicultural and matrix organization
- Project management experience or certification (PMP, Lean Six Sigma) is an advantage
- Business-level proficiency in English, Knowledge of German is an advantage
Tasks
- Serve as the primary interface between Rolls-Royce and suppliers
- Ensure material availability for production and overhaul schedules
- Maintain optimal inventory levels
- Lead supplier performance reviews and resolve delivery issues
- Implement recovery plans as needed
- Visit suppliers to assess working practices and production capabilities
- Identify potential risks in supplier operations
- Collaborate with Commercial, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams
- Analyze material requirements using MRP systems
- Generate accurate purchase orders
- Monitor supplier schedules, lead times, and capacity
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for delivery performance
- Optimize inventory management
- Support onboarding of new suppliers and parts
- Coordinate initial orders, planning data, and logistics setup
- Ensure compliance with company processes and standards
