- Foundations in machine learning and numerical methods

- Experience with Python and ML frameworks

- Curiosity and motivation in AI-for-science
- English (professional working proficiency)

Tasks
- Support development of physics-informed and hybrid machine learning models
- Work at the interface of machine learning, numerical modeling, and applied physics
- Design and implement physics-informed neural network (PINN) architectures
- Integrate physical constraints and mechanistic priors into machine learning models
- Benchmark scientific ML models against classical numerical and data-driven baselines
- Analyze results and identify model limitations
- Iterate on model design and training strategies
- Contribute to integrating physics-aware AI models into industrial and research use cases

- Currently in higher education
