Culturing 3D Neuromuscular Junction organoids, performing AAV transductions, and 3D live imaging. PhD/MD program enrollment and complex cell model/organoid culturing experience required. Direct contribution to patient-focused product development.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a PhD or medical degree program
- Background in muscle cell biology, neuroscience, or life science
- Demonstrable experience in culturing complex cell models and/or organoids
- Experience with live cell imaging techniques
- Experience in electrophysiology
- Familiarity with advanced image analysis software
- Basic molecular biology techniques
- Proficiency in statistical software for analyzing biological data sets
- Strong interest in expanding methodological skills using AAV-based technologies
- Certificate from university for non-EU/EFTA citizens
Tasks
- Maintain a detailed electronic lab notebook and data records
- Culture and maintain 3D Neuromuscular Junction organoids
- Perform viral transductions using recombinant AAVs
- Conduct 3D live imaging and multielectrode array (MEA)
- Analyze data
- Present research findings to project and cross-functional teams
- Prepare manuscripts
- Coordinate with internal core facilities such as imaging and genomics
- Participate in experimental design and scientific strategy meetings
