- Professional experience
- Strong Time & Attendance system implementation experience in EMEA
- Good understanding of local payroll legislation
- Understanding of country-specific statutory requirements
- Expertise in multi-country payroll integration
- Expertise in multiple payroll software platforms
- Hands-on experience with external payroll providers
- Background with Payroll & T&A vendors (e.g. UKG, Replicon, Legion, or similar)
- Background in consulting firms specializing in payroll, workforce management, or HR systems
- Background in in-house payroll transformation roles
- Deep understanding of payroll-relevant T&A data
- Deep understanding of payroll processing logic
- Strong knowledge of payroll interfaces
- Strong knowledge of file structures
- Strong knowledge of APIs
- Strong knowledge of secure data transfers
- Ability to translate payroll and HR requirements into integration specifications
- High attention to data accuracy
- High attention to controls
- High attention to auditability
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Strong vendor management skills
- Ability to bridge HR, Payroll, IT, and Retail operations

Tasks
- Support Legion Time & Attendance system rollout in EMEA
- Act as subject-matter expert for Legion payroll-relevant data
- Ensure local business needs and payroll requirements in system configuration
- Ensure labor compliance in the system
- Own end-to-end data flow from Legion to payroll systems
- Analyze and map Legion outputs to payroll software requirements
- Implement automation solutions for payroll processing
- Establish validation rules, reconciliation processes, and exception handling
- Design controlled workaround solutions for partial automation
- Liaise with external payroll providers on Legion data integration
- Coordinate payroll integration testing, parallel runs, and go-live activities
- Manage timelines, dependencies, and risks for payroll integration
- Mitigate risks related to multi-country payroll integration
- Apply knowledge of European payroll rules and labor regulations
- Ensure integration meets GDPR, data security, and audit requirements
- Document country-specific differences and payroll dependencies
- Maintain detailed documentation of interfaces and data structures
- Audit and ensure compliance readiness
- Identify opportunities to simplify and optimize payroll integrations
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Retail Operations, IT, PMO, Legion, and payroll vendors
