Payroll Professional(m/w/x)

Description

As a Payroll Professional, you will ensure that employees in Germany are paid accurately and on time while collaborating with HR and Finance teams. Your role involves managing payroll processes, responding to employee inquiries, and implementing improvements to payroll practices.

Requirements

• •Expertise in payroll platforms/systems like CloudPay
• •Familiarity with the Workday ecosystem and experience in interfaces and integrations with 3rd party payroll systems
• •Familiarity with labor and tax framework in Germany
• •Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and German
• •Attention to detail and ability to explain complex information
• •Working knowledge of payroll processes, social security, and local payroll tax laws/requirements
• •Advanced reporting skills
• •Change management mindset and openness to change and improvements
• •Basic knowledge of finance, prepayments, accruals, and journals
• •Experience in a publicly traded company (NASDAQ, S&P) would be beneficial

Tasks

• •Process payroll accurately and on time for German entities
• •Manage payroll-related accruals and prepayments
• •Ensure data integrity from HRIS (Workday) to Cloudpay
• •Serve as the main contact for employee payroll inquiries
• •Respond promptly to employee queries via the ticketing system
• •Provide backup support for payroll processes worldwide
• •Collaborate with the Finance team on monthly payroll reconciliations
• •Ensure compliance and reporting with local payroll providers
• •Analyze and implement improvements for payroll practices in Germany
• •Gather manual inputs and approvals for Cloudpay uploads
