Requirements

  • •B.S. or M.S. degree in HES field or related field
  • •Hands-on experience with programming machinery, networking, and data analysis
  • •Understanding of operational technology in modern manufacturing environments
  • •Experience of 5 to 10 years in similar positions in a manufacturing environment
  • •Extensive experience with various programming languages (Python, SQL, LabVIEW, PLCs, C#, e.g.)
  • •Good knowledge of data processing and analytics
  • •Excellent English skills with good knowledge of either German or French
  • •Willingness to occasionally travel across Europe

Education

Bachelor's degree
OR
Master's degree

Work Experience

5 - 10 years

Tasks

  • •Design and maintain network infrastructure for IT and operations integration
  • •Manage data from production machinery and synchronize with IT servers
  • •Conduct data analytics to provide real-time feedback and insights
  • •Connect production machines to the MES system via MQTT
  • •Implement AI solutions for predictive maintenance on machinery
  • •Maintain IT systems in production, including upgrades and backups
  • •Support and program autonomous vehicles in the factory
  • •Manage remote access systems for emergency machine support
