Tasks
- Join teams applying thin carbon coatings in LHC beam lines
- Participate in mechanical assembly of vacuum coating systems
- Commission and operate vacuum coating systems
- Design mechanical parts using CAD software
- Manufacture components on conventional and CNC machines
- Perform mechanical assembly of ultra-high vacuum systems
- Operate coating systems to deposit carbon thin films
- Propose and perform system upgrades
- Maintain coating systems
- Write technical documentation
- Collaborate in a multi-cultural team
