Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (ETH/FH or equivalent)
- Structured, reliable, and independent working style
- Fluent English (C2) and communicative German
- Experience in medical devices or other regulated industries (ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820, GxP)
- Exposure to production support functions
- Experience or interest in qualification and validation activities
- Motivated and curious engineer
Tasks
- Take ownership of maintenance and facility control processes
- Support high equipment availability and reliability
- Plan and implement improvement activities
- Strengthen compliant facility and utility operations
- Act as technical owner for assigned equipment, utilities, or facility systems
- Manage change control activities in PLM system (Windchill)
- Conduct impact assessments and stakeholder training
- Ensure clear, accurate, and GMP-compliant documentation in asset management system (Infor)
- Plan and execute qualification and validation activities
- Investigate deviations, non-conformances, or incidents
- Collaborate closely with Quality Engineering
- Lead improvement initiatives in area of responsibility
- Represent the department in large-scale projects
- Support internal and external audits and inspections
- Ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, Abbott standards, and regulatory requirements
