Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or comparable qualification
  • Experience in control cabinet construction, industrial automation, or electrical plant engineering
  • Ideally background progressing from hands-on role into development or industrial engineering
  • Very good understanding of electrical design, wiring, EMC, and design for manufacturability
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines, ideally EN 61010, EN 60204, EN 61439, EN 61326, IPC-A-610, or J-STD-001
  • Experience in transferring products from development into series production
  • Very good German and English language skills
  • Structured, analytical, and pragmatic working style

Tasks

  • Transfer new products into series production
  • Act as a technical interface between development and production
  • Optimize designs for manufacturability and serviceability
  • Introduce and develop hands-on manufacturing technologies
  • Define and validate manufacturing and testing processes
  • Document all manufacturing and testing procedures
  • Provide technical support for complex electromechanical issues
