Requirements

  • Studies in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or comparable field
  • Good programming skills in Python or MATLAB

  • Solid theoretical understanding of data analysis techniques

  • Ability to document findings clearly
  • Enrollment at university

Tasks

  • Analyze extensive vehicle operational datasets
  • Conduct research to identify suitable ML architecture
  • Explore patterns and characteristics of vehicle power consumption
  • Develop scripts to clean and transform raw data
  • Prepare data for ML model training
  • Engineer meaningful features from time-series data
  • Review literature on state-of-the-art ML approaches
  • Compare models like GANs, VAEs, RNNs, and Transformers
  • Summarize findings in a detailed report
  • Present recommendations for the next project phase
