Requirements
- •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management or operation management
- •At least 5 years of proven leadership experience in supply chain and operations or relevant field
- •3-5 years of site management experience
- •Experience in production planning, procurement, and inventory management
- •Proven track record of initiating and conducting improvement projects
- •Experience in continuous improvement systems and methods such as Lean Six Sigma
- •Fluency in written and spoken English and German, knowledge of French or Italian is advantageous
- •Reliability, independence, and precision with high-quality awareness
- •Professional attitude and work ethic in line with company values
- •Proactive attitude, proven people skills, well organized, ambitious, and result driven

- •Experience in a manufacturing organization serving international customers

- •Develop the operations strategy based on company goals
- •Create the annual operations plan and budget
- •Establish the production plan and obtain approval
- •Translate monthly SIOP into operational production goals
- •Steer execution of activities and monitor progress
- •Take corrective actions as necessary
- •Optimize operations through safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity metrics
- •Ensure consistent quality in processes and products
- •Drive process efficiency through Continuous Improvement (LEAN)
- •Promote and implement quality improvement tools like 8D and 6S
- •Lead and facilitate specific projects
- •Provide insights through periodic and ad hoc reports and analyses
- •Present corrective action plans when needed
- •Manage, develop, and appraise staff within the entity
- •Ensure the right skills in manufacturing and supply chain are available
- •Build and maintain a network of internal and external stakeholders
- •Align strategy for processes with related business processes
- •Initiate and manage continuous improvement in processes
- •Oversee multiple interrelated processes with high complexity
- •Coordinate with sales, procurement, R&D, and quality compliance
- •Ensure health and safety, quality, and facility activities are coordinated
- •Control the site budget for key projects and capital initiatives
- •Ensure the site meets Net Zero targets and maximizes sustainability
- •Champion local communications aligned with organizational messaging
- •Ensure a safe working environment for all employees
- •Coordinate facilities-related activities like cleaning and security
- •Champion Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001 certification
- •Support internal and external audits and corrective actions
- •Communicate effectively with external auditing bodies and local government
- •Collaborate with facility and HR departments
- •Communicate site-related issues to local teams
