Requirements

  • Vocational training as machinist, CNC operator, industrial mechanic, or comparable technical qualification
  • Proven experience in CNC machining, ideally in motorsport, automotive, or high-end industrial sectors
  • Advanced CNC Turning programming skills
  • Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications
  • Solid understanding of various materials and cutting tools
  • High attention to detail and quality preparation
  • Proficiency in English
  • Flexible working hours, ability to perform under pressure, team-oriented, independent working style

Tasks

  • Program and set up CNC machines
  • Operate CNC lathe and turning machines
  • Use CAD/CAM software for high-precision manufacturing
  • Program with OPEN MIND hyperMILL
  • Machinist motorsport components using CNC and conventional methods
  • Perform turning, milling, drilling, and surface grinding
  • Manage tool preparation, selection, and optimization
  • Ensure maximum machining performance
  • Mark parts with laser engraving for identification
  • Maintain part tolerances
  • Service machines regularly for optimal performance
  • Operate equipment safely according to specifications
  • Meet tight deadlines for race car preparation
  • Communicate with manufacturing and engineering teams
  • Develop functional, high-quality components under pressure
