- 10+ years software architecture experience in product environments
- Proven track record designing/delivering large-scale platforms
- Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture (microservices, distributed systems, data pipelines)
- Meaningful exposure to AI/ML in last two years
- Background in high-growth SaaS/product companies
- Experience at Director, Sr. Director, VP, or Staff/Principal Architect level
- Fluent in technical and business language
- Influential leader, earning trust through details and clarity
- Comfortable with ambiguity and transformation
- Naturally hands-on, enjoys solving hard architectural problems
- Intentional about building strong relationships
- Local to Lausanne or committed to relocating
Tasks
- Define and drive architecture roadmap
- Set direction for scale, resilience, AI integration, and platform evolution
- Contribute hands-on to specific architectural domains
- Drive architectural domains to production
- Align architecture decisions with product roadmap and business objectives
- Build and lead a high-performing architecture team
- Create shared practices and architectural forums
- Foster a culture of technical excellence
- Communicate architectural vision to stakeholders
- Evaluate emerging technologies and infrastructure
- Make principled decisions on platform inclusion
- Advise engineering teams on design decisions and trade-offs
