Laboratory Technician in Physics(m/w/x)
Experimental design, data collection, and interpretation for water purification projects at a science-based solutions provider. Physics Lab Technician degree (CFC) or Bachelor's in physical measurements with industrial experience required; QC experience a plus. Flexible, self-determined work; 24 days holidays.
Requirements
- Laboratory Technician Degree (CFC) or equivalent in physics, or Bachelor’s degree in physical measurements with previous industrial experience
- Senior level MS Office tools proficiency
- Previous Quality Control experience (plus)
- Self-driven, creative, and ability to work under pressure
- Hands-on mentality, ownership, and responsibility
- Strong communication and team-oriented working capability
- Quick learning and adaptation in fast-moving environment
- Willingness for occasional international travel (up to 10%)
- Fluent English; German and/or French (added value)
- EU or Swiss citizenship or valid Swiss work permit
Tasks
- Support innovation engineers in water purification and quality monitoring projects
- Participate in experimental design
- Collect experimental data
- Interpret experimental data
- Assist in designing testing setups
- Assist in mounting testing setups
- Assist in operating testing setups
- Perform physical measurements (electrical, mechanical, acoustics)
- Support Quality Control activities
- Maintain contact with international suppliers and customers
- Prepare analytical reports
Education
- Vocational certificationOR
- Bachelor's degree
