Key Account Manager (Senior)(m/w/x)
Managing commercial responsibility for key accounts, coordinating new business quotations, and developing pricing strategies. Sales and customer experience delivery skills required. Work with Engineering and Manufacturing to maximize business and secure new opportunities.

- Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) or equivalent professional qualification and experience
- Fluent in English and German
- Experience in automotive, OEM or Tier 1 background preferable
- Travel expected to manage nominated customer accounts
Tasks
- Manage commercial responsibility for one or more customer accounts
- Work with Engineering and Manufacturing to maximize business and secure new opportunities
- Lead coordination of new business quotations
- Manage performance metrics and pricing strategies
- Ensure customer satisfaction and professional representation
- Align account activities with long-term business strategies
- Negotiate customer contracts to support business growth
- Ensure compliance with commercial processes and contract review
- Adhere to sales processes and account information management
- Develop and deploy comprehensive customer strategies
- Understand market share, competitive position, and profitability
- Work with sales management to implement market-driven pricing strategies
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Develop and track new business opportunity plans
- Lead the acquisition plan and its execution
- Monitor market dynamics and share relevant information
- Ensure total customer satisfaction and pursue corrective actions
- Develop and adjust sales forecasts
- Comply with contract review procedures and commercial policies
- Provide global coordination on customer issues
- Share and seek information across business units
- Serve as the primary commercial contact for customers
- Lead a cross-functional team with Quality, Logistics, and Engineering
- Coordinate with other BorgWarner business units and functions
- Represent the business unit at exhibitions and marketing events
