Requirements

  • 1-3 years relevant experience in European power markets, ideally in origination, trading, structuring or related commercial role
  • Good understanding of wholesale power market fundamentals and commercial drivers of structured energy transactions
  • Strong commercial mindset and solid analytical skills
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly, manage multiple workstreams, and maintain momentum with limited guidance
  • Drive to grow into client facing role and build own network and deal pipeline
  • Willingness to travel 1-2 days per week on average
  • Fluent English required; additional European languages advantageous

Tasks

  • Support structured power transactions
  • Contribute to commercial activity
  • Build and maintain relationships with market participants
  • Prepare term sheets and pricing
  • Coordinate internal approvals and deal summaries
  • Develop and maintain CRM pipeline
  • Track and progress opportunities
  • Prepare and present CRM reports
  • Collaborate with trading, risk, legal, operations, and credit teams
  • Support transaction structuring and negotiation
  • Implement transactions and on-board products
  • Monitor market developments
  • Identify commercial opportunities
  • Contribute to market analysis

  • Bachelor's degreeOR
