Requirements

• •Track record in complex Java back-end projects
• •Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Jakarta EE
• •Affinity for front-end development with React
• •Understanding of software design patterns and principles
• •Experience with DevOps concepts and CI/CD
• •Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• •Proficiency with agile tools
• •Banking, Pricing, or Revenue experience (plus)
• •Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• •Motivation to learn about Pricing solutions
• •Self-motivated, communicative, and responsible personality
• •Facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
• •Analytical mindset and attention to detail
• •High emotional intelligence and influence skills
• •Good English skills, German is nice to have

Tasks

• •Provide technical leadership and drive solution design decisions
• •Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and effort estimates
• •Apply agile sizing techniques to technical solutions
• •Design and develop complex, secure backend services
• •Build scalable functionality for the bank's Pricing Portal
• •Participate in agile sprints, planning, and retrospectives
• •Mentor junior developers through knowledge-sharing sessions
• •Delegate tasks and monitor team progress
• •Support team capacity planning
• •Conduct code reviews to ensure security compliance
• •Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis
• •Optimize application performance and database interactions
• •Enhance observability through logging, metrics, and tracing
• •Lead cross-functional and multi-location teams by example
• •Drive the evolution of backend software engineering practices
• •Integrate backend services with front-end components
