IT Project Manager(m/w/x)
End-to-end IT project delivery for innovative therapies, using waterfall and agile methods. 5+ years pharma/life sciences project management experience required. 12-month assignment, contractor role.
Requirements
- 5+ years managing IT projects in pharma, life sciences, or regulated industry
- University degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent
- Working knowledge of CSV / GAMP 5 and IT Systems Lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with waterfall and agile/hybrid delivery
- Proficiency with MS Planner Premium or similar, Azure DevOps or equivalent
- Strong business analysis skills: requirements gathering, process mapping, solution design
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Exposure to pharmaceutical R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, or Quality domains
- Autonomous, structured, resilient
- Strong communicator, technical to executive summary
- Problem solver, navigating unclarity, clear next steps
- Curious, service-minded, detail-oriented, constructive stakeholder challenging
- Cool under pressure, eye on bigger picture
Tasks
- Deliver multiple IT projects end-to-end
- Use waterfall, agile, or hybrid approaches
- Partner with business stakeholders to capture needs
- Challenge assumptions and shape solutions
- Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and consultants
- Manage risks, dependencies, and change
- Ensure quality and compliance with GxP, CSV, GAMP 5
- Validate, document, and hand over to operations
- Contribute to portfolio prioritization
- Plan capacity and report progress
- Improve PM standards and tooling
- Facilitate meetings and workshops
- Lead reviews and steering forums
