IT Helpdesk expert and support specialist(m/w/x)

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in IT support
• Degree in computer systems or equivalent
• Expertise in Windows and Office applications
• Independent work and reliable priority setting
• Fluency in English and communication skills
• Basic project management experience

Tasks

• Maintain hardware inventory in the Baar office
• Coordinate with the external infrastructure team
• Install and troubleshoot office and trading applications
• Administer users in on-premises and cloud directories
• Setup devices and install standard services
• Document issues and changes in the ticketing tool
• Collaborate with the central Helpdesk team
• Develop expertise in local applications and processes
• Manage and document hardware inventory processes
• Store and organize IT equipment properly
• Order and replace new or broken devices
• Maintain IT devices in meeting rooms and printer areas
• Coordinate equipment repairs and warranty issues with vendors
• Manage e-waste handling and transportation
• Build a vendor and third-party contact list
• Solve and ticket IT infrastructure issues
• Document and coordinate testing for new requests
• Lead office infrastructure and server room projects
• Ensure meeting room devices are ready for collaboration
• Assist users with workplace and peripheral setups
• Manage intra-office relocations and device moves
• Configure company services on mobile devices
• Help users and guests with Wi-Fi and printers
• Create training materials for basic IT activities
• Support IT needs for joiner, mover, and leaver employees
