Requirements
- Strong analytical abilities for financial data interpretation, valuation, and investment evaluation
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline
- CFA charterholder or CAIA designation required or progression toward completion
- 3-5 years relevant experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or corporate development
- Advanced financial modelling skills
- Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of cap table management tools
- Working knowledge of CRM/deal flow platforms
- Working knowledge of data room management tools
- Familiarity with portfolio management system tools is a plus

- Strong understanding of venture and growth-stage investment dynamics
- Knowledge of financial services sector, regulatory frameworks, fintech ecosystems, and investment constraints

Tasks
- Support investment transactions from term sheet to close
- Coordinate legal, financial, and strategic workstreams
- Structure and negotiate deal terms
- Synthesize diligence findings into investment analysis
- Stress-test key assumptions
- Identify material risks and mitigation strategies
- Coordinate specialist deep-dives for investment targets
- Author Investment Committee memoranda
- Maintain rigorous documentation standards for Venture IC materials
- Serve as primary relationship owner for portfolio companies
- Conduct structured check-ins with portfolio companies
- Perform board observer duties
- Track portfolio company milestones
- Monitor financial and operational KPIs for portfolio companies
- Flag inflection points and covenant concerns
- Identify follow-on opportunities for the RISE fund
- Produce periodic portfolio reporting
- Maintain accurate valuation marks
- Provide strategic commentary for portfolio reporting
- Support build-out of investment operating infrastructure
- Improve deal flow tracking systems
- Enhance portfolio management systems
- Refine reporting cadences
- Coordinate with Expansion Team on fund strategy
- Provide inputs on market intelligence
- Contribute to thematic coverage
- Assist with ecosystem mapping
