Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at university (cell biology, immunology, or similar)
  • In a Gap year between degrees (BA and Master)
  • Proficiency in English
  • Hands-on experience in cell culture techniques
  • Solid understanding of multicolor flow cytometry
  • Profound experience in multicolor flow cytometry
  • High level of technical understanding
  • Strong affinity for laboratory equipment and automation
  • Prior programming experience (advantageous)
  • Practical experience with complex 3D cell culture techniques (advantageous)
  • Student enrolled at university or in Gap year

Tasks

  • Transition and establish complex cellular workflows
  • Validate workflows on automated platforms
  • Perform and optimize FACS staining workflows
  • Use conventional manual methods and automated pipetting
  • Establish and validate new automated FACS workflows
  • Ensure high data quality and reproducibility
  • Develop automated workflows for T cell proliferation assays
  • Create human 3D immune cell cultures
  • Evaluate safety and efficacy of therapeutic large molecules

Education

  • Currently in higher education
