Requirements

  • Ongoing studies in economics, business, mathematics, or related field
  • Strong interest in capital markets, particularly fixed income
  • Beneficial understanding of DCM, rates, and macroeconomics
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; VBA knowledge advantageous
  • Familiarity with market-standard tools like Bloomberg
  • Solid analytical, mathematical, and quantitative skills
  • Relevant academic track record in finance, economics, or mathematics
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
  • Adaptability, flexibility, resilience, and proactive mindset
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills; strong time management and organization
  • Fluency in German and English; additional languages a plus

Tasks

  • Support DCM originators in winning new mandates
  • Prepare presentations and pitch books
  • Assist in preparing transaction-specific materials
  • Research issuers and markets
  • Prepare regular market updates
  • Gather information from Bloomberg and rating agencies
  • Process information in Excel for analysis
  • Create visually appealing PowerPoint slide decks
  • Analyze executed issuances
  • Draft transaction-related reports
  • Prepare deal summaries
  • Assist in RfP preparation for bond issuances

Education

  • Currently in higher educationOR
  • Bachelor's degree

Languages

  • German – Native
  • English – Native
