- Review typical noise sources in aircraft cabins
- Assess transmission paths of cabin noise
- Study current soundproofing and acoustic treatment methods
- Investigate lightweight acoustic materials and insulation strategies
- Identify challenges and opportunities for cabin noise improvement
- Characterize cabin acoustic environment using measurements
- Use validated models to analyze cabin acoustics
- Identify dominant noise contributors and relevant frequency ranges
- Develop concepts for lightweight soundproofing
- Propose noise reduction solutions
- Define methods for evaluating acoustic performance
- Analyze noise reduction potential of proposed solutions
- Assess feasibility of solutions in terms of weight and integration
- Provide recommendations for cabin acoustic performance
- Document findings and present results clearly
- Simulate acoustic behavior of proposed solutions
- Support ground-based and flight test measurements
- Investigate operational conditions' influence on cabin noise
- Validate concepts through experimental approaches
- Use Python for data processing and visualization
- Operate measurement equipment like microphones and sensors
- Utilize acoustic simulation and analysis tools
