Requirements

  • •Enrollment in a degree program in Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics, Medical Technology, Biotechnology, or related Life Science field
  • •Training in basic laboratory techniques
  • •Comfort and willingness to work with human-based samples
  • •Strong analytical skills
  • •Proactivity in problem-solving
  • •Enjoyment of collaborative work in an international R&D team
  • •Valid vaccination for Hepatitis B and adequate immunity titer
  • •Current CV and Motivation Letter
  • •Certificate of enrolment (if currently studying)
  • •Certificate from university for Non-EU/EFTA citizens stating internship is mandatory

Tasks

  • •Support high-impact lab studies
  • •Design and execute studies using human whole blood samples
  • •Analyze results from studies on prototypes and established BGA instruments
  • •Plan and execute independent technical studies
  • •Optimize sample preparation protocols using whole blood
  • •Conduct targeted performance investigations on prototype devices
  • •Master operation of advanced BGA instruments
  • •Apply systematic troubleshooting skills
  • •Interpret complex diagnostic data critically
