Requirements
- Bachelor/Master degree in Physics, Optical Engineering, Mechanical or Micro Engineering, Materials Science or related field
- Basic understanding of geometric optics, tolerances, metrology, manufacturing processes
- Hands-on mindset and attention to detail
- Prior experience in lab with small components assembly and/or lasers
- Teamwork orientation and good communication skills
- English fluency (oral and written)
- Some programming knowledge (Python)
- Self-motivated, task planning, and deadline adherence
- Experience with UV curing epoxy or other adhesives (plus)
- Experience with reliability testing or device qualification (plus)
Tasks
- Support development of optical assembly processes
- Optimize and document UV-curable epoxy processes
- Conduct characterization and reliability studies
- Improve and validate automated assembly processes
- Use test equipment for laser characterization
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
- Analyze and present experimental results
- Write work instructions and documentation
