Requirements
- Education or vocational training in logistics, supply chain, or related field
- Experience in inbound logistics, transport coordination, or supply chain operations, ideally in manufacturing or chemical environment
- Familiarity with container logistics, rail transport, and customs processes
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Collaborative mindset, clear communication skills, and proactive, solution-oriented approach
- Confident working with ERP systems and standard MS Office applications
- Fluent German language skills
- English language skills are an advantage
Tasks
- Monitor and manage daily inbound shipments
- Process and validate shipping documents
- Coordinate with suppliers on shipment status
- Manage external storage locations
- Organize empty container returns
- Create and manage purchase orders
- Coordinate rail tank car maintenance
- Coordinate transport orders for pick-ups
- Handle customs clearance activities
- Verify and control invoices
- Monitor demurrage and detention charges
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulations
Work Experience

- English – Basic
