Description

As an IC Validation Engineer, you will engage in validating protocols for high-speed devices and support product design and certification. This role involves writing test scripts, collaborating with design teams, and building demos for customers.

Requirements

• •Proven experience with lab and debug equipment for high-speed signals
• •Experience with SerDes, USB3, USB4, PCIe, or relevant high-speed communications bus/protocol
• •Experience in system level validation of high-speed integrated circuits
• •Experience in debugging PCBs and ICs
• •Experience interfacing with large OEMs
• •Experience in DDRx memory validation
• •At least 5 years of relevant work experience
• •Familiarity with standards, test specifications, and equipment vendors
• •Experience with Interoperability testing
• •Experience with embedded software
• •Self-motivation and strong sense of ownership
• •Good communication and teamwork skills
• •Strong interest in testing high-speed digital and analog circuits
• •Experience with Python or other object-oriented languages
• •Experience using high-speed oscilloscopes, protocol/logic analyzers, and lab equipment
• •Ability to multitask in a high energy environment
• •Proven track record in protocol validation
• •Knowledge of semiconductor test flow
• •Bachelor's or Master's degree in EE, CE, or equivalent work experience

Tasks

• •Perform protocol validation of Kandou products
• •Utilize compliance tools like data exerciser and analyzer
• •Conduct interoperability testing
• •Validate protocols for high-speed devices
• •Support customers and field teams during product design
• •Assist with product certification requirements and specifications
• •Debug systems as needed
• •Write test scripts to aid validation activities
• •Build and support product demos for customers and trade shows
• •Collaborate with IP architects and design teams
• •Document test results and procedures
