Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in HR People Advisory or similar environment, ideally in large/complex organisation (preferably Financial Service Industry)
  • Strong knowledge of German labour law and local HR practices
  • Ability to understand end-to-end people advisory support across employee lifecycle
  • Process-driven mindset with clear understanding of HR journeys and operational delivery
  • Risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, job-specific technical skills

Tasks

  • Partner with business to deliver HR projects and programs
  • Collaborate on HR activities like organizational design and talent reviews
  • Project manage cyclical and non-cyclical HR activities
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress, manage risks
  • Conduct project implementation reviews and implement improvements
  • Manage relationships with HR Business Partners and business leaders
  • Advise on decision-making and contribute to policy development
  • Ensure operational effectiveness and collaborate with other functions
  • Lead a team performing complex tasks, set objectives, and coach employees
  • Appraise performance and determine reward outcomes
  • Demonstrate leadership behaviors: Listen, Energize, Align, Develop
  • Lead collaborative assignments and guide team members
  • Identify the need for specialized areas in assignments
  • Consult on complex issues and provide advice to People Leaders
  • Mitigate risk and develop new policies and procedures
  • Manage risk and strengthen controls in work
  • Understand and coordinate with other areas to achieve objectives
  • Engage in complex data analysis to solve problems
  • Communicate complex and sensitive information effectively
  • Influence stakeholders to achieve outcomes
  • Support the delivery of end-to-end colleague journeys
  • Partner with local management and support leaders in employee lifecycle
  • Ensure local compliance and deliver a consistent people experience
  • Support People Leaders with day-to-day colleague topics
  • Engage with Works Council and cover operational responsibilities
  • Contribute to international and regional HR initiatives
  • Ensure clear understanding and application of HR processes
