Requirements
- Experience in Computer Hardware and Linux operating systems
- Knowledge and experience in storage solutions, cluster management, job schedulers, high speed networking, Lustre, and Kubernetes
- Technical First Level University degree or years of system administration experience
- Interest in technical knowledge of HPC products and solutions
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Client relationship management skills
- Fluency in English and preferably Italian
- Experience in Computer Hardware and Linux/Unix operating systems
- Knowledge of programming and scripting (e.g. Perl, Python, C++)
- General understanding of networking and security, storage systems, orchestration and automation
Tasks
- Deliver HPC services for supercomputer systems, clusters, and storage systems
- Analyze and troubleshoot incidents with autonomy and expertise
- Collaborate with team members and internal organizations
- Engage with customers and third parties like NVIDIA and AMD
- Represent HPE in verbal and written communication
- Travel to customer sites across Europe as needed
- Research HPC documentation and complete required trainings
