Requirements
- Extensive visual inspection experience (vials, syringes) in GMP environment
- Broad experience with manual, semi-automatic, or AVI visual inspection systems (advantage)
- Team leadership experience
- Experience with health authority audits
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in German (advantage)
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders
Tasks
- Lead visual inspection and container closure integrity testing team
- Partner with customers, health authorities, and cross-functional teams
- Deliver safe, compliant, and high-quality outcomes
- Manage a team of Vision Engineers, Process Experts, and Operators
- Develop, coach, hire, and handle disciplinary issues
- Maintain a culture of empowerment, innovation, trust, and high performance
- Provide scientific leadership for visual inspection processes
- Anticipate, evaluate, and resolve technical challenges
- Operate automated, semi-automated, and manual visual inspection systems
- Conduct container closure integrity testing
- Manage customer interface during technical visits
- Adapt technical capabilities to meet customer requirements
- Represent the facility during regulatory inspections and audits
- Ensure safety, compliance, and regulatory aspects
- Prepare risk analysis and relevant procedures
- Support project team with scientific and statistical knowledge
- Manage interfaces between CAPEX, Manufacturing, Plant Engineering, Automation, Support, QC, and QA
- Collaborate with functions in the project and across Drug Product Services
- Support the Senior Director Operational Lead for the Dolphin project
- Develop, prioritize, and achieve project and DPS goals
- Facilitate information exchange between management and the organization
