Requirements

• MSc Biological sciences, Biochemical Engineering, or equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing operations or project management
• Experience working with multi-disciplined teams
• Excellent understanding of project management tools
• Strong background in program management
• High integrity, resilience, and attention to detail
• Track record of delivering results through teams
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Technical leadership and approachable demeanor

Tasks

• Advise the SPM Ops Head and network sites
• Provide independent perspectives and structured insights
• Support leadership alignment and effective decision making
• Drive complex, cross-functional initiatives across the network
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement
• Share synergies and local improvements across the network
• Establish a robust PMO framework for strategic projects
• Define governance standards and project management methodologies
• Align project reporting structures with Lonza standards
• Define clear project scopes, milestones, and dependencies
• Ensure resource alignment for all major projects
• Track project progress, risks, and benefits realization
• Provide transparent, fact-based reporting to senior leadership
• Identify delivery risks and enable timely escalations
• Implement corrective actions for project delivery
• Develop and implement mid- and long-term strategies
• Roll out yearly X-matrices and BSRs to sites
• Manage OE roadmaps and Site Master Planning
• Facilitate SPM Ops leadership meetings and huddles
• Coordinate monthly meetings and Site business reviews
• Prepare high-quality agendas and decision proposals
• Create documentation for townhalls and senior management
• Track leadership decisions and ensure disciplined follow-through
