- Shape and deliver translational strategy for neurodegenerative programs
- Provide expert guidance on research and early clinical development
- Advance assets from discovery to proof-of-concept and full development
- Lead global, cross-functional teams in designing and executing translational strategies
- Serve as a thought leader in neurodegenerative disease biology and clinical development
- Define and oversee long-term translational strategy for the Neurodegeneration Pillar
- Ensure scientific excellence and alignment with organizational priorities
- Advise on program design, biomarker strategy, and patient-relevant endpoints
- Drive implementation of high-quality development strategies in neurodegeneration indications
- Represent Translational Medicine on global program teams and decision boards
- Ensure neurodegeneration programs meet quality, regulatory, and differentiation objectives
- Design and execute First-in-Human and Phase IIa studies
- Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, biomarker, and profiling partners
- Create clinical components of key documents with high quality and consistency
- Promote empowerment, innovation, and collaboration across organizations
- Mentor and develop scientific talent in translational and clinical functions
- Lead interactions with external stakeholders and internal NVS stakeholders
- Contribute to opportunity assessments and due diligence for neurodegeneration areas
