Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Sustainability, Psychology, Social Work, Human Resources, or related field
  • 8+ years professional experience
  • 5+ years direct or matrix leadership managing multidisciplinary teams
  • Proven success in social sustainability strategy (mental health, wellbeing)
  • Extensive command of Swiss social insurance frameworks (IV, UVG, KTG)
  • Extensive command of Swiss labor legislation
  • Fluency in German
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong emotional intelligence
  • Discretion
  • Boundary-setting capabilities
  • High proficiency with case management software
  • High proficiency with HRIS (Workday)
  • Openness to leveraging AI tools

Tasks

  • Define and lead local People Care strategy in Switzerland
  • Ensure operational excellence in social sustainability, counseling, and career transitions
  • Shape and operationalize local social sustainability priorities
  • Design frameworks for inclusive and psychologically safe work culture
  • Align local wellbeing and mental health initiatives with global strategy
  • Bridge internal partners and external social insurance networks
  • Define and implement future collaboration model for People Care department
  • Ensure alignment with country-wide priorities
  • Lead transition to agile, merged team structure
  • Drive continuous learning and professional growth
  • Serve as strategic advisor on policy development and organizational design
  • Ensure compliance with Swiss social security laws and wider legislation
  • Partner with Senior Management on organizational changes
  • Oversee outplacement measures and Social Plans
  • Negotiate with employee representatives
  • Enable early intervention strategies
  • Oversee holistic reintegration process for long-term absent employees
  • Ensure robust resourcing for Crisis Management teams
  • Foster high-trust relationships with employee networks
