Requirements
- Fully qualified lawyer (First/Second State Examination)
- Outstanding expertise in employment and labor law
- Certified Specialist Lawyer in Employment Law (advantageous)
- International legal study or practical experience (advantageous)
- Several years of experience in labor relations
- Experience in industrial or technically driven environment (ideally)
- Strong leadership presence
- Proven effectiveness in complex, multicultural, unionized settings
- Balancing business performance with social-partnership responsibility
- Deep expertise in employment and collective labor law
- Strong command of governance, policies, and compliance frameworks
- Outstanding negotiation capabilities
- Outstanding consultation capabilities
- National and European negotiation/consultation experience
- Experience with EWF processes
- Analytical leadership style
- Integrity-driven leadership style
- Clear communication
- Pragmatic, hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
- German language skills (business proficient)
- English language skills (business proficient)
Tasks
- Drive stakeholder alignment with works councils, trade unions, and senior leaders
- Provide overarching guidance on cross-country labor and collective law
- Lead the Labor Relations strategy for the region, aligning with global governance
- Coordinate governance and consultation procedures for the European Works Forum
- Advise on transformation, consultation, and negotiation matters, especially German labor law
- Direct restructuring workstreams and collective negotiations, including legal and financial assessments
- Lead Labor Relations aspects in Mergers and Acquisitions, including due diligence and employee transfer
- Manage high-stake Labor Relations communication, ensuring clarity and stakeholder alignment
